About Me: I am so thankful to be serving your students at Lorain City Schools! I knew in elementary school when I would organize my books and play library that I wanted a profession matching kids with books. After Kent State University, I began my career with 7 years at Cuyahoga County Pubic Library. 2 years at Lorain Public Library followed before I made the transition to school libraries. I could not be happier. It is true that if you find a job you love you won't work a day in your life.
My husband and I have 8 children together. Only 4 are left at home. The rest have moved on to college and careers and/or families of their own. We recently relocated to the south side of Lorain to shorten our commute. We purchased and renovated an all brick home. We love the international urban feel of our neighborhood. Our youngest daughter attends Larkmoor school were we are both members of the PTO.
I am actively involved in my church and community gardening. In my free time you can find me swimming laps at the UH-Fitness Center, paddling on Lake Erie, or exploring the local parks. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any suggestions or concerns. I am always interested in new ways to support our students.
